LEED / Green Building
YRG's Green Building and LEED Educational Training Sessions can be tailored to meet specific group or project needs. The trainings are designed to be dynamic and informative and address key LEED categories including site, water, energy, materials and resources, and indoor environmental quality. Specific topic areas generally include:
The format of the sessions are generally interactive Microsoft PowerPoint presentation supported by group activities, project-based exercises, real life anecdotes and more. Participants come away with a familiarity with the process and benefits of integrated green design as well as coordinating and accomplishing a LEED certification for a building. Resources are made available for continued education and involvement, including LEED Accreditation exam preparation.

Green Building Charrette
YRG facilitates an integrated green building charrette for key and active project stakeholders (owners, design team, etc.) to take place early in the design process. The meeting is generally designed as a full day event and works to focus the team on goals and strategies for enhanced environmental performance on their project, and ultimately establish a sustainability road map with tools and an approach for moving forward.
